It all started in January 2018 when they met for the first time at Playa Provisions in Playa Del Rey, CA.
"I knew we would get married the day I met her," Katie said.
"I knew I liked her, but wasn't ready to go feet first just yet," said Alli.

The first date was fireworks, but things cooled off for the month of February. As in, they didn't talk after the first date in January until March 3, the Demi Lovato Concert in LA.
Katie had an inkling that Alli would be at the concert knowing how much of a fan she was, so preemptively bought tickets in the off chance she'd run into this beautiful girl again.

The night of the concert, out of the blue, Alli shot Katie a text that started a conversation which prompted a hangout and multiple hangouts to follow.
A quiet midwestern girl synced up with a sassy Texan, and the rest was history.
